بدعوة من راعي أبرشية صور للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر، أقيم قداس وجناز لراحة نفس الجندي الإيرلندي الشهيد شون روني في كنيسة القديس جاورجيوس _ تبنين وذلك نهار الأحد الواقع فيه ١٥ كانون الثاني ٢٠٢٣، ترأس القداس المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر وعاونه كاهن الرعية الأب ماريوس خيرالله ومرشد الكتيبة الإيرلندية الأب ديكلان شانون. شارك في القداس الإلهي القائد العام لليونيفيل اللواء أرالدو لازارو، رئيس أركان اليونيفيل الجنرال الفرنسي برونو هيلوي، قائد القطاع الغربي لليونيفيل اللواء الإيطالي جوزيبي برتونشللو، نائب قائد القطاع الغربي العقيد الإيرلندي أوين ماكنيللي، قائد الكتيبة الإيرلندية في اليونيفيل العقيد داميان مورفي، العقيد ماتيو من الكتيبة الماليزية وضباط وجنود اليونيفيل. بعد قراءة الإنجيل المقدس، ألقى المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر عظة قال فيها:

"طوبى لفاعلي السلام فإنهم أبناءَ الله يُدعَون" هذا الكلام جاء على لسان السيد المسيح في موعظته على الجبل (متى 5: 9) هو خلاصةُ كلِّ التعاليمِ التي أرادها يسوعُ في رسالته على الأرض، وهو كما يقول القديسُ أوغسطينوس يتضمّنُ كلَّ المبادئِ الساميةِ اللازمةِ للحياةِ المسيحيةِ الكاملة. إنها الطوبى التي يستحقُ من يصنعُها أن يكونَ ابناً لله بالتبنِّي وهذه هي المكافأةُ القصوى لكلِّ التطويبات وهي على درجةٍ عاليةٍ من الأهمية لأنها حاجةٌ ماسَّةٌ للبشرية جمعاء اليومَ وفي كلِّ يوم. والسلامُ لا يكونُ بالكلامِ والمجاملاتِ بل هو صناعةٌ بامتياز تتطلبُ وجودَ قادةٍ يتمتعون بالمهارةِ والكفاءةِ وحسنِ النية من أجلِ تأهيلِ وتدريبِ الشعوبِ على هذه الحالةِ الجديدة. وإذا كان إنتاجُ الصناعاتِ يتمُّ عادةًّ في المصانعِ والمعاملِ إلا أن هذه الصناعةَ النادرةَ يتمُّ إنتاجُها داخلَ النفوسِ بالسيطرةِ على الغرائزِ وردّاتِ الفعلِ والظروفِ الخارجيةِ التي تقودُ إلى فعلِ الشرّ. إنها صناعةٌ صعبةٌ تنطلقُ من داخلِ الإنسانِ لتطالَ العائلةَ والمدرسةَ والمجتمعَ على مستوى المناهجِ والأساليبِ ومن خلالِ القراراتِ الحكوميةِ والأمميةِ التي تتوخَّى السلمَ ونشرَ العدالة، وحيثُ يكونُ العدلُ يحلُّ السلامُ وحيثُ الطمعُ والنزاعُ هناك القلقُ وكلُّ أنواعِ الشر. الحكمةُ النازلةُ من فوقُ من لدُنِ الربِ هي وحدَها طاهرةٌ ومسالمةٌ ومتسامحةٌ تَفيضُ بالرحمةِ والعدلِ والعملِ الصالح.

أيها الإخوة

إنَّ عالمَنا اليومَ مليءٌ بالخصوماتِ والنزاعاتِ المتنوعة التي يُشعلُ نارَها قادةٌ ومسؤولون من أجلِ تحقيقِ أهدافٍ بشريةٍ وماديةٍ لا تنسجم مع رسالةِ السيِّدِ المسيح الذي تجسّدَ ليقيمَ عهداً جديداً من المصالحةِ بيننا وبينَ الله بموتِه وآلامِه على الصليب وقيامتِه في اليومِ الثالث. فالمسيحُ هو نفسُه السلامُ الذي لم يكنْ ممكناً قبلَ هذه المصالحةِ بين اللهِ والإنسان، وإذا كان الكثيرُ من الناس قد رفضوا هذه الدعوةَ وقامت بينهم الحروبُ والخصومات، فلأنَّهم لم يقبلوا هذا السلامَ في نفوسِهم أولاً والسلامُ الذي لا يدخلُ إلى القلوبِ وينزعُ عنها الكبرياءَ والطمعَ وحبَّ الذات لا يمكنُ أن يعطيَ ثمارَهُ في أعمالِنا وحياتِنا اليومية، فالإنسانُ يُعرف من ثمارِه وأعمالِه الطيبة.

نسمعُ اليومَ الكثيرَ من الدعَواتِ في طلبِ السلام على مستوى الأفرادِ والدول، ولكنَّهُ بالحقيقة موجودٌ معنا منذ اللحظةِ التي تجسّدَ فيها اللهُ بيننا، والعالمُ يحتاجُ إلى صانعي سلامٍ يعملونَ بكلمةِ اللهِ ويكونونَ أداةً في نزعِ العداوةِ والخصوماتِ وزرعِ المصالحةِ بدلَ العنف، والمحبةِ بدلَ الأحقاد.

من هذه الرؤيةِ المسيحيةِ إلى حقيقةِ السلام في عالمِنا الحاضر ننظرُ إلى مهمَّةِ قواتِ اليونيفيل في جنوبِ لبنان. هذه القواتُ التي حضرتْ إلى بلادِنا بسببِ النزاعاتِ الموجودةِ في منطقتِنا وعلى حدودِنا الجنوبية وقد جاءت أولاً بتوجيهٍ من ربِّ السلام ثمَّ بمُوجبِ قرارٍ من مجلسِ الأمن الذي يمثّلُ الشرعيةَ الدوليةَ مهما اختلفتْ آراؤُنا حولَ شرعيةِ وعدالةِ هذه القرارات. لقد جاء هؤلاءِ الجنودُ من أوطانِهم المتعددة ومن بين عائلاتِهم وتركوا الأصدقاءَ والأحبَّاءَ ليكونوا جنوداً في أداءِ مهمةٍ دوليةٍ خدمةً لهذا السلام الذي يريدُه اللهُ في الأرضِ وبين الأممِ والشعوب. وإذا كان هؤلاءِ الجنودُ يدفعون الثمنَ من حياتِهم في بعضِ الأحيانِ نتيجةَ أخطاءٍ بشريةٍ إلاَّ أنهم يمثِّلونَ بأعمالهِم وتضحياتهِم رسالةً نبيلةً وما ينتجُ عنها من استقرارٍ وازدهارٍ قد يكونُ الناسُ بحاجةٍ إليهما أكثرَ من ممارسةِ العنفِ واعتمادِ سياساتٍ لا يأتي من ورائِها إلا القتلُ والخراب.

إنَّ الحادثةَ الأليمةَ التي أودَتْ بحياةِ الجنديِّ الأيرلندي في الفترةِ الأخيرةِ مهما كانت أسبابُها وتبريراتُها وظروفُها هي ضربةٌ موجعةٌ لهذه الرسالةِ التي تعملُ من أجلِها قواتُ اليونيفيل والتي هي أساسُ وجودِها وعملِها على الأراضي اللبنانية. ونحنُ أبناءَ الإيمانِ المسيحي الذين يدعو إلى نشرِ المحبةِ والسلامِ لا يَسَعُنا إلاَّ الوقوفُ إلى جانبِ هذه الرسالةِ السلاميةِ التي يريدُها اللهُ منَا أوَّلاً والتي يدعو إليها المجتمعُ الدولي ثانياً لخفضِ منسوبِ التوترِ وتفادي الخسائرِ البشريةِ والماديةِ المتأتيةِ عن الحروبِ والنزاعات. وعندما ننظرُ إلى أعمالِ اليونيفيل خارجَ مهامِّهم الأمنيةِ نرى أنهم يقومونَ بمبادراتٍ إيجابيةٍ تُجاهَ أبناءِ القرى والمناطقِ التي يتواجدون فيها ولا يوفِّرون فرصةً من أجلِ التواصلِ والخدمةِ في المجالاتِ الاجتماعيةِ والتربويةِ والإنمائية. وإنَّ أبناءَ الجنوبِ من الطوائفِ والاتجاهاتِ كافةً يشعرون بفائدةِ هذه العلاقةِ الإنسانيةِ التي تخلقُ أجواءً من التعاون والمودةِ بينهم وبين هذه القوات وهم يعتبرون أنفسَهم البيئةَ الحاضنةَ والداعمةَ لها لأنها تعملُ أولاً وأخيراً من أجلِ ترسيخِ الهدوءِ والاستقرارِ والحياةِ الآمنةِ للمواطنين. وانطلاقاً من هذه الحاجةِ إلى الأمنِ والاستقرارِ في جنوبِ لبنان نتوخَّى من الحكومةِ اللبنانيةِ بكلِّ مكوِّناتِها أن تقفَ وراءَ المصلحةِ الوطنيةِ العليا باحترامِ القراراتِ الدوليةِ ومنها القرارُ 1701 لتفويتِ الفرصةِ على العدوِّ الإسرائيلي الذي يتربصُ بنا على الحدودِ من خلالِ الإشاعاتِ الإعلاميةِ الواهيةِ التي تهدفُ إلى تشويهِ صورةِ لبنان وجيشِهِ الوطني أمامَ المجتمعِ الدولي.

إننا نشعرُ بالأسى والحزن على خسارةِ هذا الشاب Seán الذي تطوّعَ في صفوفِ اليونيفيل تاركاً وطنه إيرلندا وفيه عائلتُه وأصدقاؤُه ليتواجدَ في أرضٍ تبعدُ عن وطنِه آلافَ الكيلومترات وقد دفع حياتَه ثمناً لهذه الرسالةِ وهذا الالتزام.

ونحنُ اليومَ ومن منطلقِ إيمانِنا بضرورةِ أن نعيشَ السلامَ الذي أرادَهُ السيِّدُ المسيح وقد بذل نفسَه على الصليبِ من أجلِه، لا يَسَعُنا في هذه الصلاةِ المقدسةِ التي نقيمُها لراحةِ نفسِ هذا الجندي إلا أن نتضامنَ جميعاً كلبنانيين مع مهمَّةِ قواتِ اليونيفيل وأن نتقدّمَ بالتعزيةِ القلبيةِ إلى قيادتِها وللشعبِ الأيرلندي الصديق وسائرِ الدولِ المشاركةِ فيها، كما نتقدّمُ بالتعزيةِ القلبيةِ إلى عائلتِه ومحبيهِ وحكومةِ بلادِهِ الذين خسروه في ظروفٍ أليمةٍ ودفعوا ثمناً غالياً في خدمةِ هذه الرسالةِ التي تهدفُ إلى زرعِ السلامِ والاستقرارِ في منطقةٍ هي بأمسِّ الحاجةِ إلى خفضِ التوتّرِ وبناءِ حياةٍ إنسانيةٍ كريمة.

نرفعُ صلاتَنا اليومَ مع المؤمنينَ الحاضرينَ معنا ومع قيادةِ اليونيفيل لكي يتغمّدَ الربُ الالهُ نفسَ Seán في الأخدارِ السماوية وأن يعزِّيَ قلوبَ قيادتِهِ وعائلتِهِ ومحبيهِ وأن يكونَ دمُهُ الغالي قرباناً طاهراً أُهرِقَ على مذبحِ السلام ولم يذهبْ هدراً بنعمةِ الآبِ والابنِ والروحِ القُدُسِ الذي يعزِّي قلوبَنا جميعاً آمين.

وفي نهاية القدّاس، أقام المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر صلاة النياحة لراحة نفس الجندي الإيرلندي شون روني، بعدها إنطلق الجميع برفقة سماحة مفتي صور وجبل عامل الشيخ حسن العبدالله نحو النصب التذكاري لشهداء الكتائب الإيرلندية التي خدمت في جنوب لبنان ضمن قوات حفظ السلام (اليونيفيل) قرب الكنيسة حيث عزفت الفرقة الموسيقية الخاصة بالجيش الإيرلندي الموسيقى الحزينة وتمّ وضع أكاليل من الورد من قبل قائد اليونيفيل وقائد الكتيبة الإيرلندية، كما وضع المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر والمفتي حسن العبدالله سوياً إكليلًا من الورد تخليدا لذكراه، وعُزف النشيد الوطني الإيرلندي. في الختام التقى الجميع في صالون كنيسة الرعية حيث ألقى المفتي حسن العبدالله كلمة شكر فيها بداية المتروبوليت اسكندر على دعوته ليكون مع إخوانه في هذه البلدة المباركة تبنين منوهًا بالرؤية الايمانية المشتركة بين المسيحين والمسلمين، كما شكر للمتروبوليت الصلاة التي أقامها لأرواح الشهداء الذين سقطوا من اجل لبنان وجنوبه. فكل جندي من قوات اليونيفل سقط شهيدًا هو شهيد لبنان والجنوب. وأردف قائلًا إن قوات اليونيفل تشكّل نسيجًا اجتماعيًا لبنانيًا، وشهداؤها فخر وعزّ للبنان لأنهم شهداء السلام. وختم المفتي العبدالله بتعزية القيادة الدولية والإيرلندية بالشهيد الجندي الإيرلندي سائلًا الله تعالى أن يسكنه الفسيح من جناته.

وفي المقابل شكر قائد اليونيفيل اللواء لازارو وكبار ضباط اليونيفيل المتروبوليت جورج إسكندر على القداس وصلاة النياحة وأيضا شكروا رعية القديس جاورجيوس_ تبنين على حفاوة الإستقبال والإحتفال.

The wisdom that comes from above from God alone is pure, peaceful, and tolerant, overflowing with mercy, justice, and good deeds. B E R I N G Our world today is full of discounts and conflicts ignited by leaders and officials in order to achieve human and material goals that do not align with the message of the Lord Jesus Christ who was incarnated to establish a new covenant of reconciliation between us and God by his death and pain on the cross and his resurrection on the third day. Christ himself is the peace that was not possible before this reconciliation between God and man, and if many people rejected this invitation and made wars and discounts among themselves, it is because they did not accept this peace in themselves first and the peace that does not enter the hearts wins Pride, greed, and self-love aside I cannot It gives fruits in our daily deeds and living, a man is known by his fruits and good deeds. Today we hear a lot of calls for peace at individual and national levels, but the truth has been with us from the moment God was incarnated, the world needs peacemakers who will act by the word of God and be an instrument to remove hostility, discrimination and sow Reconciliation instead of violence, love instead of hatred. From this Christian vision to the reality of peace in our present world, we look at the mission of Unifil Forces in South Lebanon. These forces that came to our country because of the conflicts in our region and on our southern borders have come first under the guidance of the Lord of peace and then by a decision from the Security Council which represents international legality, no matter how we differ about the legality and justice of these resolutions. These soldiers came from their multiple countries and families leaving friends and loved ones to be soldiers on an international mission in service of that peace that God wants on earth, nations, and peoples. If these soldiers pay the price with their lives sometimes as a result of human mistakes but their actions and sacrifices represent a noble message and the result of stability and prosperity people may need them more than violence and politics Murder and destruction follows after her. The painful incident that took the life of the Irish soldier in recent times, whatever its reasons, justifications, and circumstances is a painful blow to the message that Unifil forces work for, which is the basis of its existence and activity on Lebanese soil. We are the children of the Christian faith who call for the spread of love and peace we can only stand by this message of peace that God wants us first and which is called by the international community second to reduce tension and avoid human and material loss O who comes of war and strife. When we look at the works of Unifil outside their security duties, we see that they are making positive initiatives towards the people of their villages and areas where they are and don't provide opportunities for communication and service in social, educational, and developmental spheres.
